Former VA/OBM looking to start up my business again, hopefully this time with the support and focus needed to become successful. I actually ran my VA business for 14 years, serving clients in many different fields, but never specialized and never found my passion or niche. I'm a private person but I do like chatting with people and helping them, I just find it hard to overcome my shyness in the beginning.

In January 2021 I took an office job as a Purchasing Agent for a home builder and I like the work well enough but I miss the variety and autonomy I had working as a VA. I am looking for help to find my passion, determine what niche suits me best and what my idea client avatar looks like, and then connect and serve them to the best of my ability, doing work that I find fulfilling, meaningful and helpful.

On a more personal note, I'm a Gen X'er with two sons, relishing life with my husband of 10 years and looking to build my business to the point that we can afford to travel while still making a good income.   I'm at the point in my life where I need work that feels meaningful to me, but I don't yet know exactly how to define it - other than I want to help people improve themselves or our environment. I know... super vague... more thought is needed. LOL
